Change Management Definition

Change, through choice, concerns achieving a desirable future state of affairs (Wilson & Rosenfeld, 1990) and can be regarded as an ever present feature of organisational life (Burns, 2000). Simply put, change management is a systematic way of dealing with change in an organisation. This will involve a set of processes and procedures aimed at ensuring that desired changes are made in an orderly, managed and systematic manner.
