Intrapreneurship Definition

Intrapreneurship is the process by which an individual or a group of employees, within an existing organisation, create a new venture or instigate change or innovation (Toftoy & Chatterjee, 2004). This process may take place at any level, for example corporate, business division, functional, or project level, with the ultimate objective of improving firm performance and creating a competitive advantage over market rivals (Ibid.).
