Once the programme is complete, you will be assessed through the End Point Assessment (EPA) by an independent, accredited organisation.
Project Proposal
- A work-based project proposal focused on a real business challenge or improvement
- Production of a structured written proposal (up to 5,000 words) outlining approach, analysis, stakeholder engagement and recommendations
- Inclusion of evidence demonstrating how the work meets required knowledge, skills and behaviours
- Confirmation of management or leadership support for the proposed project
Presentation with Questioning
- Delivery of a presentation (typically 15 minutes) to an independent assessor
- Presentation of the project proposal, including approach, analysis and expected business impact
- Followed by questioning (typically 30 minutes) to assess understanding and decision-making
- A minimum of 10 questions to explore application of knowledge, skills and behaviours
Professional Discussion
- A 60-minute structured discussion with an independent assessor
- Supported by a portfolio of evidence developed during the programme and submitted at gateway
- Reflection on experience, demonstrating application of knowledge, skills and behaviours in the role
- A minimum of 10 questions to explore competence, professional judgement and impact
Assessment outcomes are combined to determine the final grade: Fail, Pass, Merit, Distinction
