Once the programme is complete, you will be assessed through the End Point Assessment (EPA) by an independent, accredited organisation.
Project Report
- Production of a structured written report (up to 4,000 words) outlining approach, research, analysis, findings and recommendations
- Inclusion of key elements such as project scope (aims, objectives and key performance indicators), planning and research outcomes
- Analysis of data and presentation of conclusions linked to the project objectives
- Demonstration of how the work meets the required knowledge, skills and behaviours
Presentation with Questioning
- Delivery of a presentation based on the project to an independent assessor
- Presentation typically lasting 25 minutes, followed by approximately 35 minutes of questioning (60 minutes total)
- Structured question and answer session to assess understanding and decision-making
- A minimum of 6 questions to explore approach, competence and application of knowledge, skills and behaviours
Professional Discussion
- A 60-minute structured professional discussion with an independent assessor
- Supported by a portfolio of evidence developed during the programme
- Demonstration of how knowledge, skills and behaviours have been applied in the role
- A minimum of 8 questions to explore experience, decision-making and professional practice in more depth
Assessment outcomes are combined to determine the final grade: Fail, Pass, Distinction
